Question and Answer

My parents visited me last week.

We had a very nice time together. We visited some places, tried some different food, recollected my childhood days etc

My father asked me lot of questions. He asked about this city, the different things he came across while traveling, the kind of life style we are following, comparing our village life with city life etc

I was patiently answering all his questions and looking for more questions from him to answer. I don’t know why I like satisfying his queries.

While they were returning to our home town my friend also accompanied me to drop them in the station. My father continued his questions while we were going to the station.

My friend was looking at me and watching the way I am explaining things to him and giving my full attention to his queries and other talks.

After they left on the way back to home my fried told me. “Man you are so good at acting. Your father was asking lot of silly questions which he doesn’t even need to know at this age. I appreciate your patience and the way you were acting and answering his questions without any trace of frustration in your face”

I told him “dude, I still remember my childhood days. I used to have lot of question about wanted and unwanted things. He used to answer all my questions with in his limit and he never complained about my questions and its timings. He never felt what the public think about my questions… he took all my queries very seriously even though some of them even don’t carry any meaning. After I started my family once I even asked him about my habit of asking why for every little thing …He answered me ….son I never concerned about you listening to me or not but I always concerned about you watching me and my actions… so I want to give you what the best I can and I just tried that only…”

My fried just looked at me and while saying good bye that evening, he told me “dude …sorry for my stupid comments”

  1. quite true actually….as to why do we never think before snapping at our parents when they are the ones who have given their flesh and blood to us…let go of their desires to fulfil ours, let go of their dreams to make ours, let go of their life to make ours…
and when we grow up…we need to see it as give back time….of a to z’s of what they have given us to them…..and with more n more of patience and love and warmth….. :)

  2. really true and well said !!!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comment
